Spicy wheat ale with refreshing flavors derived both from fermentation and the addition of spices such as coriander and orange peel. Notable for using unmalted wheat for 50% of the recipe.

History:

A Belgian ale with a long history, Witbier died out in the 1950s, only to be revived in the 1960s by Pierre Celis. Popularity has since grown immensely.
